sun is strong this close to the equator.
yesterday i watched the main break at playa negra.
this mosty right breaks on a lava rock formation, much like a reef, but not living or moving.the break is consistent and always breaks in the same place.
one must be careful of the rocks. may not be for this novice surfer (me).
i napped under whispering mangrove trees...
while the sea sounded right back...
ive yet to paddle out. need to get a board and find a gentler break.
So so envious of you right now we're on our umteenth snow storm in nyc.
